1. Closed Inquiry Model:

a. A question / problem that is interesting and worth investigating.
b. all necessary research info is provided by the teacher
c. the project can be completed in 1-2 class sessions

2. Open Inquiry Model

a. A question / problem that is interesting and worth investigating.
b. research info has to be found by the students
c. the project can last up to one year (or longer).
