Technology Training - Learn to use the computer at all ages! Bring your own laptop or use ours. Group training can be arranged. Training provided on the following topics:

  • Microsoft Office package - learn to create a word processing document, a spreadsheet with Excel for balancing your budget, a Power Point to present, or a database to keep track of your "stuff".
  • Training on using Social Networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, Edmodo, Instagram, etc.
  • How to create a Video and edit it.
  • How to create a game using your Scratch.

Classes can be individual lessons, group lessons, and can be either face to face (if local) or in the online format.

Curriculum Development - Learn to engage your students through the use of 21st century tools. Activities can be as simple as a digital worksheet with links or:

  • Complete Units utilizing tools like Wikis, blogs, or Edmodo for communicating with students in other schools to develop deeper thinking and writing.
  • Writer's Workshop with online co- writers.
  • "Chat with an Expert" - using Edmodo or other online learning platform for students to ask questions of an expert

We will help you set up the activities to enable you and your students be successful. All curriculums matched to Common Core Standards and using Universal Design for Learning whenever possible.

Phenomenological Research Studies - Want to know what is truly happening in your organization? Has quantitative research given you numbers but not explanations? Then you might want to try a phenomenology. Through in-depth interviews of stakeholders, and a scientific method of analyzing the interviews for word meaning units, a researcher can get to the "essence" of the situation, giving you more insight for decision making.
